Certipost welcomes 500,000th consumer

Today, Certipost - the leader in the market for electronic document exchange - has more than 500,000 consumers on its e-communication platform CertiONE. With this achievement, the company is ahead of the business plan. Five years after its establishment, the subsidiary of the Belgian Post Group is past the early adopter phase and is booking excellent results, thanks to the close co-operation with its customers and partners.

Private individuals can connect to CertiONE via myCertipost, a free online service through which they can safely receive and archive their invoices, salary slips and other important and sensitive documents via the internet. Moreover, with a myCertipost account they can send electronically registered letters.

Not only is the number of private users increasing, but also more and more companies are exchanging electronic business documents daily with customers and suppliers via CertiONE. In early 2008, the platform hosted 28,000 companies. Now, we will shortly be crossing the milestone of 50,000 companies. Certipost expects a further increase in the speed of growth in this area as well, because the more companies are connected to the system, the more they can save, improve their efficiency and contribute to a better environment. Besides the exchange of electronic invoices, more and more companies are evolving towards the exchange of all types of documents in the complete e-supply process.
